About Us
Who We Are
Shift Health Education Sarl, founded in September 2023 by Elizabeth and Glen Vorster, is built upon Elizabeth's two decades of dedicated experience in delivering essential health education to international schools in Geneva and Vaud, Switzerland. Our foundation is built on a strong reputation and established relationships with a trusted group of clients.
We are a Swiss-based company, operating from La Rippe, Switzerland, and delivering our services directly on school campuses. Our focus is on serving international and private schools within the Geneva and Vaud cantons, bringing vital health and life-skills education directly to students in their learning environments

Our Mission
Our core mission is to equip young people with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complex social, health, personal, and technological landscapes of today's world. We also strive to support schools and parents by providing insights into current trends affecting students and offering practical strategies for home discussions on important topics.
We are committed to being a knowledgeable partner, closely connected to the real issues facing students, and delivering impactful solutions. Our aim is to enable students to make informed decisions and to prepare teachers and parents to effectively support them through these challenges.
We believe in strengthening the communities around learners and students, always prioritising the human element in knowledge sharing through engaging discussions and critical thinking.
Our Core Values
Our approach goes beyond simply delivering information, it’s about guiding students to understand themselves, navigate their world, and make thoughtful, informed decisions. Here’s what drives everything we do:
Multiple Perspectives, Not One-Sided Lessons
We present topics from all angles, encouraging students to explore different viewpoints. No agendas, no ideologies — just facts, realities, and diverse perspectives to help them think critically and develop their own informed beliefs.
Student-Centered Vision & Self-Discovery
Our goal is to help students shape their own vision for life, rooted in their personal values, dreams, and goals. We encourage them to reflect on what matters most to them — not just now, but for their future.
Staying Ahead
We strive to stay ahead of the curve by addressing key topics through yearly, age-appropriate lessons, preparing students before they encounter these challenges in real life.
Inclusion & Respect for Differences
We encourage students to recognise and appreciate diversity, differences in opinions, beliefs, and life experiences.
Critical Thinking & Awareness of Influence
We challenge students to question the sources that shape their beliefs — from social media to peers to cultural norms. By recognising these influences, students are better equipped to develop their own authentic perspectives.
Real Topics for Real Life
We keep our content fresh and relevant by addressing what’s currently impacting students. We listen to their concerns and evolve our content alongside their challenges.
No Coddling, Just Clarity
Students deserve honest, transparent information. We don’t shy away from tough conversations, and we don’t sugarcoat the realities. By providing well-rounded, balanced information — with various perspectives and clear facts — we give students the foundation they need to make independent, informed decisions.
Age-Appropriate, Every Step of the Way
We tailor every program to be developmentally appropriate, ensuring that each stage of education builds on the one before it. Complex topics are introduced gradually, with sensitivity to the age, maturity, and readiness of each group.
Respect for Cultures & Beliefs
Our programs honour and respect the diverse cultural, religious, and family values that shape students’ experiences.
Detect and Direct
We ensure students are provided with local resources where they can seek further support. When problem areas are detected, we ensure they are flagged and handled appropriately to provide timely intervention.
Provide Student Support
We offer students a safe and welcoming environment where they can ask questions—whether in a group setting or one-on-one—and receive knowledgeable, compassionate guidance tailored to their individual needs.
